Grow Weed Blog

My home computer is still torturing me. I shall spare you the details, but the torture continues, just the same. This blog is unpleasant news. The drug warriors in Washington have been summoned by cannabis haters in California and have heroically formed a posse to hunt down and intimidate or destroy the sick and needy in California. As Carl Olsen is making clearer for me, it is very illegal for the federal government to deliberately use force and intimidation to direct one of the fifty states away from using that state's rights to make their own decisions unless specifically so ordered by the legislature... and that has NOT happened like the pukes of the dea want us to think it has. Git 'em, Carl. We are praying for you. Well, the following crap is why we need to continue to rant the political jerks and cheer each other up! Nazis were often very clean, too. Hey, dea wankers? Did you know that in addition to your "never did anything wrong" that adolph hitler said the same thing? that's right, dea readers, adolph hitler never broke either state or federal level laws. kinda makes you feel safe, doesn't it? I may have real bad headaches and I may smoke reefers, but at least I still live in the Real world and not the dea fraud-world.

Ah, my kinda blog comin on today! Another state in our United States is coming onto the very reasonable idea of decriminalization of cannabis. Well! C'Mon with it, Massachusetts! You know, I have decided what to do with all the form letters from my hick state's representatives and senators. I am going to put them on the wall in frames and laugh at them. I shall will them to my grandkids who shall look on the output of Senator Grassley and laugh their asses off at what a jerk and a dumbass he was. Yes, my friends, the drug warriors are slipping into history's toilet, albeit slowly... but surely. Well! here is today's great story for us to read:

Marijuana: Massachusetts

Decriminalization Initiative Polling

 Well

A Massachusetts initiative that would decriminalize marijuana possession looks set to win in November, if polling numbers from this month are any indication. According to a 7NEWS/Suffolk University poll, the initiative now has the approval of 72% of voters. Only 22% of respondents said they opposed the decrim measure, while 6% had no opinion. The initiative, sponsored by the Committee for Responsible Marijuana Policy, would replace current criminal penalties for marijuana possession with a civil penalty of forfeiture of the marijuana and a $100 fine. It looks like the Massachusetts public is on board with decrim, said David Paleologos, director of the Political Research Center at Suffolk University. "This issue suggests that there is a libertarian streak in the thinking of Massachusetts voters," he said. The decrim initiative, known as Question #2 on the November ballot, is the only one of three initiatives garnering majority support, according to the poll. An initiative that would reduce and ultimately eliminate the state income tax was trailing 50% to 36%, while an initiative that would bar dog racing that entailed wagering was hovering at the half-way mark, with 50% approval and 37% and opposed. Massachusetts voters may be uncertain about dog racing and opposed to messing with the state tax system, but they seem clear about the need to decriminalize marijuana possession. If they pass the initiative, Massachusetts will become the 13th decrim state and the first since Nevada in 2001.

So! Waddaya say, Senator Grassley? you feeling more and more isolated like an out of step dork?

Me? I been growing reefer for decades. That is why I am your humble narrator, SuckMeBush!

Follow along with the story to the end and then let's go to the state sanctioned tent on public property and get Bush Stoned so he is properly medicated after a nice rant to the cops to quit being wankers and just settle and do the job they are paid to.  You are invited to share the fumes thereof! To the blue tent... to the blue tent! TUMWATER, Thurston County — More than 100 activists who jammed a state Health Department hearing Monday to protest proposed medical-marijuana limits won at least a minor victory: getting more time to make their case. Responding to concerns by advocates, Assistant Health Secretary Karen Jensen extended until 5 p.m. Friday the deadline for comments on a proposed rule to limit medical-marijuana users to possessing 24 ounces of cultivated marijuana, six mature plants and 18 immature plants. The action came at a 2-½-hour hearing in which about 50 patients, doctors and other marijuana supporters blasted the proposal as unfair, unrealistic and unduly influenced by law-enforcement agencies. "We're not criminals. We're patients," said Melissa Leggee, of Spokane. "We just want to be left alone to do what we need to do to survive." Leggee said she uses marijuana to ease chronic pain, irritable bowel syndrome and other conditions. Dr. Karen Hamilton, of Redmond, who has treated patients helped by marijuana, said the proposal would "effectively take treatment out of the doctors' hands," adding that there is no "one-size-fits-all" appropriate marijuana dose. Speaker after speaker said six mature plants can't possibly provide the amount of marijuana most patients need to combat pain, nausea and symptoms of more than a dozen ailments the drug is used to treat. As a result, they argued, users would need to find drug dealers to augment their supply. "You're going to make everyone in this room a felon," if the proposed limit is adopted, Steve Sarich, of Kirkland, told the panel of Health Department officials. Sarich is director of CannaCare, which provides legal assistance and starter plants to patients. Lawsuit filed Sarich and another activist, John Worthington, of Renton, filed a lawsuit Friday in Thurston County Superior Court that they hope will force the state to reclassify marijuana, now on a list of "Schedule I" drugs deemed to have no valid medical use. Sarich said the state's old drug law, which contains that listing, should be superseded by Initiative 692, passed in 1998, which legalizes marijuana for medical purposes. The initiative, approved by nearly 59 percent of Washington voters, said patients with valid certification by a physician should be allowed to possess a 60-day supply of marijuana but contained no definition of what quantity that is. Last year, the Legislature directed the Health Department to spell out an acceptable amount.  Several speakers Monday criticized Health Department staffers for not sticking with an earlier draft proposal, which would have allowed a user 35 ounces of harvested marijuana and a 100-square-foot growing "canopy." That proposal was changed after Gov. Christine Gregoire's policy analysts urged the Health Department to get input from law-enforcement agencies and medical experts, who were scarcely represented at the workshops on the draft proposal. Staffers for Gregoire also told Health Department officials the amount appeared to be on the high side. The change prompted Troy Williams, of Clark County, to remark that department officials should "stand up, have some courage, and tell the governor to shove it." Jensen said she expects the agency to take about a month to evaluate comments and come up with a rule set by Health Secretary Mary Selecky. If substantial changes are made to the current proposal, Jensen said, a new round of comments would be solicited. Target of raids Despite the Washington initiative, possession, cultivation and sale of marijuana remain illegal under federal law. Some advocates for medical marijuana have found themselves the target of raids by law enforcement, which they say violates their rights not just to legal pot but to freedom of speech. The homes of both Sarich and Worthington were raided early last year. Marijuana plants were seized at each man's home, but neither was formally charged. Jeanne Ferguson, of Seattle, executive director of "Grammas for Ganja," said the controversy would disappear if marijuana were legalized. "The plant should be free to be grown in your backyard, next to your broccoli and carrots." Outside the Health Department's Tumwater offices during Monday's hearing, marijuana backers set up a blue tent in which certified patients could "medicate." Activists said state staffers had asked them not to set up the tent but did not interfere once it was in place. Information from The Seattle Times archives is included in this report. Jack Broom: 206-464-2222 or jbroom@seattletimes.com Copyright © 2008 The Seattle Times Company "that there is no "one-size-fits-all" appropriate marijuana dose." absolutely typical state robot thinking that gets the cops overpaid and we get under represented in meetings like this sort. They should stick to being cops and enforce the law, not Make the law and then get bigger pensions for this wrongful acting like they have opinion supirior to the doctors and the patients and cause interference with legislative formations of written law. They were wrongfully invited  and blabbered lies some more, like usual. And so our citizen representatives felt stressed at the end of the meeting from repelling the cops some and went out to the public enclosure aka blue tent to medicate. Oh, how tasty it is! and if Carl wins maybe we can make up more blue tents to drag the cops in and help them engage in a debate... with the fumes. [dance.gif] just maybe there wouldn't be so many cop related wife beatings and suicides, eh? maybe some of them could start to realize we growers are not enemies after all. OK, clearly that "acceptable amount" is what this broohaha is all about. The Governor invited the cops in because they have all this medical opinion that becoming a cop has bestowed upon them... none whatsoever! So who cares what the cops think because only doctors and patients need be heard here?! Cops are invalid authorities when it comes to how much and who gets pot. The Governor should not have called them for more opinion. They have no business interfering with the doctors who the cops should be supporting, period.  The opinion of cops is for when things are against the law. Medical cannabis is legal in Washington, who cares what the irrelevant cops thinks about a medical issue on company time, other than to enforce the law? Who cares what the irrelevant cops think about a totally medical subject? I don't. I agree with Carl Olsen, cannabis should be on the same schedule as coffee is.  Then the cops can pack their opinion about how much pot it takes to treat sick people with and shove it up their lying asses. period. end of transmission! lol J

Here is a fellow who is decrying the legal boolshit the state of iowa has pulled on folks such as your humble narrator. They are who is kind enough to murder little girls and have decided it is warrented, due to "public danger", to pull on the public... the revocation of our licenses to drive because we had Anything to do with that awful marijuana stuff we heard about. I just don't know why they stopped with pulling my license when burning is too good for marijuana growers.

State prefers alcohol over marijuana use

August 16, 2008

In the Aug. 4 article, "Iowans' Tippling Boosts State Coffers," it was reported that the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division raked in revenue of $87.6 million from the sales of a very dangerous recreational drug that people can die from if they drink too much of it. At the same time, Iowa will arrest responsible adults and take away their driver's licenses - even if the so-called crime had nothing to do with driving - for simply possessing marijuana, a plant that is impossible to fatally overdose on. If convicted of possession of marijuana, the criminal will have to pay the state a good chunk of money in order to stay out of jail, and will be harassed by the Iowa Department of Corrections until probation is completed. Make sense? - James F. Grimm, Des Moines Can you imagine why it is so dangerous to grow God's saving plant here in farm-state iowa? Because they are fear driven ignorent-staying hicks? It really nicks me to hear Iowans brag about how educated we are here in Iowa. It nicks me because one day cannabis extract will be taken like vitamins are now, in the morning, everyday to your kids. What???? kids? Oh! how very degenerate of you, you dreadful SuckMeBush! It nicks me how ignorent and dumb people can be. You will see it for yourselves once the tremendous things this blog is speaking out about are more commonly revealed. What things could that be, you awful mouthing SuckMeBush?  How about how the United States of America has deliberately witheld cancer medication all the while arresting people like myself for using the cancer cure? How about how the United States of America commits acts of war against Canada by sending in the lying pukes of the dea to terrify legitimate Canadian citizens and public officials into obeying the lies of the traitors to our nation that occupy the dea power structure? Want proof of any of the above? How about this? US Patent 6630507 - Cannabinoids as antioxidants and neuroprotectants. Who could be so evil, so lowdown dirty as to deliberately withold anti-ageing medications from the people of the United States of America? Only a slimy filthy lying enemy to the people of the United States is who. That would be the scum sucking dea. They hate us so badly that all that counts to them is their pension when they get to retire. And that pension is Bi-ig. We need to thin their ranks so very badly! We need to fire the dea employees for the good of the nation. We are depleting our national reserves of capital in order to destroy on cannabis smokers. It is entirely insane to waste our precious treasure on such stupidities. I suppose we need to talk about LEAP before too long. Ever heard of them? God Bless Your Gardens

As you may know, I am in support of a local legal expert, Carl Olsen, a regular guy who just happens to have been busted for something to do with twenty tons or so of reefer and got to be a legal sharpie in ye gaol. I am going to do something I totally promise you is extreamly rare: I am going to solicit money for him. It is hard to be more out of cash than your humble narrator is so if I can kick this guy $50 won't you please consider $5 to help bring freedom's champion, Carl Olsen, some money to fight these authority loving creeps with? He did not solicit money. I offered it to him and here is his gentle reply: I don't have a donation page, per se. You will find a donation button at the upper left of every page on each of my two web sites: http://www.ethiopianzioncopticchurch.org/ http://www.iowamedicalmarijuana.org/ My specific request for funding is here: http://www.iowamedicalmarijuana.org/petitions/pdfs/fund_raising_20080810.pdf Thank you! Carl It costs alot of money even if he is doing the Really expensive part, the legal work, all on his own. It is how the lawyers control us out of the legal process and we can not allow that to be so! We need to get cannabis legal and to do that we need to force the dea creeps to re schedule cannabis out of schedule one where they use it to destroy over 800,000 people a year! They do not do this because they love justice! They love controling other people and need tossed off the public retirement roles as unnecessary, outmoded expenses. We do not need to hurt people for possessing pot! These people get paid huge money to hurt people for possessing pot. Therefore, we do not need these federal employees who hurt us for smoking or possessing pot and they need to be fired immediately. Let's help Carl get these federal assholes fired like they need to be.

I have posted this @ Marijuana News when it first came out, it is becoming bigger news and is so wonderful that, having seen this blog affirming my post, I present it to you in another format, our humble blog. Spider62 posted up a video: Run From Their Cure in the video section of Canadian peeps. we love you Canandian patriots and heros who dare the moronic fools and their hideous prohibition of adult who decend to school yard bully tactics on all of us grower/tokers. I say this because a) I will rant your socks off to wake you up! and b) because the Canadians have been world leaders in health concerns utilizing cannabis like it will some happy day in the future be used like... vitamins in the morning with the coffee by everyone in the world. The following is a fine, if early days, example:

Cannabis compound cannabidiol CBD 'halts cancer' & may bring relive to other illness's

The CBD compound found in cannabis is non-toxic

A compound found in cannabis 'CBD' may stop breast cancer spreading throughout the body, US scientists believe.

ONLINEPOT NEWS REPORT EXPOSE' "Virgin Olive Oil" She is not a virgin anymore.  LOL Chris/OLP The California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute team are hopeful that cannabidiol or CBD could be a non-toxic alternative to chemotherapy. Unlike cannabis, CBD does not have any psychoactive properties so its use would not violate laws, Molecular Cancer Therapeutics reports. The authors stressed that they were not suggesting patients smoke marijuana. They added that it would be highly unlikely that effective concentrations of CBD could be reached by smoking cannabis.

This compound offers the hope of a non-toxic therapy that could achieve the same results without any of the painful side effects

Lead researcher Dr Sean McAllister

CBD works by blocking the activity of a gene called Id-1 which is believed to be responsible for the aggressive spread of cancer cells away from the original tumour site - a process called metastasis. Past work has shown CBD can block aggressive human brain cancers. The latest work found CBD appeared to have a similar effect on breast cancer cells in the lab. Future hope Lead researcher Dr Sean McAllister said: "Right now we have a limited range of options in treating aggressive forms of cancer. "Those treatments, such as chemotherapy, can be effective but they can also be extremely toxic and difficult for patients. "This compound offers the hope of a non-toxic therapy that could achieve the same results without any of the painful side effects." Dr Joanna Owens of Cancer Research UK said: "This research is at a very early stage. "The findings will need to be followed up with clinical trials in humans to see if the CBD is safe, and whether the beneficial effects can be replicated. "Several cancer drugs based on plant chemicals are already used widely, such as vincristine - which is derived from a type of flower called Madagascar Periwinkle and is used to treat breast and lung cancer. It will be interesting to see whether CBD will join them." Maria Leadbeater of Breast Cancer Care said: "Many people experience side-effects while having chemotherapy, such as nausea and an increased risk of infection, which can take both a physical and emotional toll. "Any drug that has fewer side-effects will, of course, be of great interest." But she added: "It is clear that much more research needs to be carried out." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7098340.stm
