Seedsman Ltd sells fresh cannabis seeds that originate from drug-varieties of the Cannabis plant. Cannabis seeds are legal to own in the majority of nations throughout the world. However only a very few countries allow the germination and cultivation of these cannabis seeds.

Seedsman is a UK company and sells predominately to UK customers. By selling cannabis seeds to persons unable to grow cannabis, we are helping to circulate and preserve the pool of cannabis genetics. The illegality of cannabis has caused a reduction in its gene pool, leading to a higher risk of extinction of major cannabis seeds strains.

A percentage of profits from cannabis seeds sold are used for the following purposes:

• Encouraging political change to enable the legal cultivation of cannabis.
  
  This will break the link between the "dealer" and the recreational cannabis user.


• Encouraging political change to enable legal supply of cannabis through regulated distribution.
  
  This will allow labelling of cannabis strength, age-control and provision of health information to users. Legal cultivation is also likely to cause a redirection of income away from organised crime towards farmers.


• Investment in cannabis breeding to provide different strength cannabis strains to the mass market.
  
  At present the majority of cannabis seeds strains are reported to be 5 times stronger than those available in the sixties.  Although we know this figure is more like up to 2%, we do see that users often have no choice as to the strength of the cannabis they use, as this is determined by the dealer they visit.


• Investment in information provision to the public on the dangers of cannabis abuse.
  
  This includes reducing harm via alternative methods of consumption to smoking, reducing harm by refraining from mixing with other drugs (i.e. tobacco) and provision of newsletters to all users detailing results from clinical trials. Information on dangers of other drugs will also be provided in order to minimise cannabis acting as a "stepping stone" to other drugs.
